Client Install: GeoMedia extension

Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 required

The Image Server extention requires the .Net 2.0 Framework (or later) to be installed on your Windows computer, including Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, and Windows XP Service Pack 2. If you are running Windows Vista, the .Net Framework is already installed.

You can determine if it's already installed by going to your computer's Control Panel and opening Add/Remove Programs. If it is not listed you will need to download and install it first.

If you need to install the .Net Framework:

Download the installer. Run dotnetfx.exe from your computer.

Continue with the download instructions below once you have completed the installation.

Download and install the Image Server extension

Download the GeoMedia extension installer.

Browse to the location of the installer program (Setup.msi) and run it. Follow the installation wizard's instructions.

Loading the GeoMedia client within the application

Start the GeoMedia application. The GeoMedia dialog box is displayed.

Click the Blank GeoWorkspace option in the Create a New Workspace using section.

Click OK on the GeoMedia dialog box.

Click OK on the message box. The ArcGIS Image Server toolbar is displayed along with the other toolbars in the GeoMedia window.
